Selects the maximum number of times that a VPN (Virtual Private Network) message is retransmitted, at intervals specified by VPN Message Re-transmission Time, before considering the remote end as unresponsive. These retries continue until an acknowledgement confirming the successful receipt of transmission, or until the selected number of attempts is reached.
